This is at this point an extremely basic space shooter... thing... mostly made to get myself acquainted with Hoot and reacquainted with game dev in general. There isn't much gameplay yet, and there's lots of messy code and collision issues at this point. Hey, it's my first time making anything graphical in a long time, please have mercy :)

The rough plan was to do a competitive space shooter with each player being able to periodically spawn enemies facing their opponent's side. But right at the end of the game jam, I'm just to the point of adding health/damage tracking ^^;

Just wanted to get something up before the game jam ended. I'll probably come back to this later!

Controls:

  • Player 1: WASD to move, 1 to fire
  • Player 2: Arrow keys to move, space to fire
